SETBI Receives Recognition from BuCor

On January 21, 2016, Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF) celebrated its founding on the same day in 1932, as well as the the strong leadership of Acting Superintendent Edgardo Flores Mendoza, Jr., the officers, and the staff of DAPECOL. The event recognized the directorship of Director General Gregorio Catapang, "Your dedication to the reformation, total transformation, support of SETBI College Education Behind Bars,  and rehabilitation of PDLs is an inspiration. May this 2026 celebration strengthen your commitment to service and public safety." In addition, the Bureau of Corrections awarded SETBI a plaque reading, "In recognition of your dedicated service, consistent support, and meaningful cooperation in promoting the Mission and Vision of this Bureau. Your efforts have greatly contributed to our shared progress. We sincerely thank you and look forward to continued collaboration.
